Alright, you can easily guess from title what we are going to discuss.
Yes, we will pick the holes of Indian media but before that I have some sorts of questions , which may , let you to ponder or simply may not.
So,as we all have errands of life but something which is common in whole scenario is our habit of being aware of news and events. Some of us get that dose from newspaper and other some from digital or tele- media.
Believe me the former one still have some sanity but the latter one is presenting us baseless, insignificant and reckless content.
So my first question is what would be preferable to you senseless "100 news in a score of minute" or patient and calm news bulletin"?
Think about it.
From past several years or we may call it a decade, media personnel on AIR used to howl the news with
the speed of 420 words per minute and even sometimes they ran out of words...... Is this the standard of Indian tele-media?
They don't have standards and morals.
If we compare nowdays' news anchors to those of 1990's I don't think there would be anything remained to say.
In present scenario senior journalist and media personnel have their puissant attitude. All what they want is just bully the leaders, Associations and Judiciary. I repeat bully not supervise.
We all know that main job of media is to find faults in Institution and reveal them but what they are on is just tracking political meetings, famous events and now a days investigating as a big brother of CBI like institutions. Which leads to step by step coverage and usage of illegitimate sources to get the news out of the hay.
Actually Indian media is completely on a wrong track or they just ran out of news. So they pick the case and over exaggerate it and modify it in such a way so they can easily get the content for 24/7, sometime which may lead to disturbance in life of those who are mere convict, but not proven guilty.
Second question is, Do you really think there is a need of prime time debates?
If you look up to me for answer I would like to say Yes. But I know you are not satisfied yet so here's the critical answer.
Debate is that part of democracy which can never be outdated. But debate over what , what is about to reveal on "Mann ki baat" or what are the effective ways to establish a firm diplomacy globally. The selection of topics goes to the part of editors, but as a viewer, I am not interested to listen the prior analysis of PM's speech of radio which all can easily have on radio in next few hours.
So it would be better to have sincere debates on prime time.
